Breeding bird surveys are undertaken in Spring/early summer, between March and June. Monthly visits are undertaken after dawn and involve a walked transect around the site. 

 

Bird activity is recorded throughout the survey to note any breeding activity. This will then be used to inform habitat retention and enhancement within the site.
